Mark and I try to go to New York once a year to see Jeff and Allison. We didn't go at our regular time of year because we were in St. Lucia celebrating 10 amazing years of marriage, so we decided to go this summer. It was hot, it was humid, but most importantly it was FUN!!! We love NYC. We have already done a lot of tourist-y things our first couple of trips so we didn't feel like we needed to stay out until 2am being entertained. Most of the nights we were there we just went back to their apartment and hung out. It was fun to be relaxed and catch up! One night we even had a BBQ with some of their friends. Anyway...enough blabbing...here are some pics from the trip!

My awesome parents kept the girls while we went on our little trip. The girls had a great time at Nana and Papa's...as usual. Mom said that Haelyn cried when she realized we were coming home because she knew that meant she would have to come back to Abilene. They are happy to see us when we get there, but not sure they ever miss us for one minute. That's okay...makes me feel better to leave them for our get aways. They went to the water park, shopping, rode the tractors, fed the animals, played in the sandbox, ran in the sprinklers, played with play dough and much much more I haven't even heard about. Non stop action with Nana and Papa!
